My work seeks diversity, in its medium and in its implementation. The empowering female and nature is what attracts my inspiration so often. While my watercolor work features the softness of the medium and subject in order to achieve realistic portraits, my acrylic paintings live in distinct, vibrant colors and bold brush strokes, creating surrealism with a realistic subject. That's how I can truly express myself. I could never restrict myself to one particular style, medium, or subject because there is so much to explore. Art is a beautiful process. Clearly, it’s the need to create! The end result is what motivates me! It’s amazing how one artwork can reach a wide audience and unite us all. No matter someone’s background, origin, or the subject of the artwork. Once the art resonates with someone, that’s where the connection happens.
