This original line and concept of my monochrome watercolor artworks called "Women and Their Origin" started in 2017. "Miss Rome" was the prototype of all the following misses, representing their city and country. Those artworks consist of authentic and real women I worked with who come from those cities. I call them my girl next door faces. Each miss represents a tradition with a modern twist, which you may see in the implementation of my technique. Incorporated in her hair is a hat or a floral headpiece with two famous buildings from that city. She tells you a story through all the little details in the painting, such as the cup she is holding, the city's traditional florals, the color, a symbol, nature, and architecture.
